One Year Anniversary!

Today is C.I.C's one year anniversary and I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to stop by my blog to read what I post here! I'd especially like to thank Bob Ladwig, David McCrory, and Thomas W. S. for making frequent visits and encouragements. I've enjoyed defending the doctrines of grace this past year and, God willing, hope to continue on for several more!

Keep on praising God, dear brother!

Psalm 50:23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

And we will stand fast with you:

Philippians 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Right on, I love coming and reading the discussions you are having. You do a good job not only in showing where people's thinking is wrong but also doing it respectfully.

I'd be interested in having a discussion with you on the topic Calvinism. Calvinists typically label me a hyper-Arminian or Pelagian. I also believe that the future is not settled and that God can create new things and make different decisions based on the decisions/actions of people. Typically Calvinists call this view of God damnable heresy.

Let me know.

Hi Nathan,

"I'd be interested in having a discussion with you on the topic Calvinism."

Sure thing. What would you like to talk about specifically? Would you want to begin a discussion in this particuliar comments section or perhaps by email?

"Calvinists typically label me a hyper-Arminian or Pelagian. I also believe that the future is not settled and that God can create new things and make different decisions based on the decisions/actions of people."

Are you an open theist then?

"Typically Calvinists call this view of God damnable heresy."

If you are indeed referring to open theism then I wouldn't call it a "damnable heresy". If I did, it seems to me that I would then be forced to conclude that historic Arminianism is a "damnable heresy" as well!
